Year 7 National Offer Day – Monday 2nd March 2026
We are really looking forward to finding out who will be joining us in Year 7, September 2026.
All Birmingham residents that applied on-line and provided an email address will get an email on Monday 2nd March 2026, advising them which school they have been offered. All applicants will also be sent an offer letter in the post.
Please see the link below for more information:
https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/info/20119/school_admissions/1778/apply_for_a_secondary_school_year_7_place/5
Please be aware, we are unable to accept any refusals directly.
Birmingham residents who are offered a place on Monday 2nd March 2026, will need to log back into their online application between Monday 2nd March 2026 and Monday 16th March 2026 to refuse their offer. If you are not refusing the offer, the admissions team will automatically deem that as an acceptance.
From Monday 23rd March 2026, you can phone Children’s Services on 0121 303 1888. They will let you know who holds the waiting list for the school you want. This will be either school admissions or the school itself. Waiting list advise will not be available before this date.
Email any refusals to: AdmissionOfferRefusal@birmingham.gov.uk. All email refusals must contain your child’s details, the reason why you are declining the placement and what school your child will be attending in September 2026.
Non-Birmingham residents need to contact their home local authority if they wish to refuse the place offered in accordance with their home local authorities processes.
If you are unsure of any of the above guidance, please do not hesitate to contact the Birmingham admissions team on: 0121 303 1888 to seek further guidance.
