For the attention of all new Year 7 parents and carers – important information regarding new Year 7 transition day, 2023.
Following an announcement from the NEU, Birmingham City Council has announced a change to the city wide Year 7 transition day.
New Year 7 transition day at King Edwards VI Lordswood School for girls will now take place on Wednesday, 12th July. All arrangements and timings mentioned in your induction pack will apply to the new date.

Wednesday 12th July new year 7 Induction day. Arrive through the Knightlow Road entrance on foot for 8:45am. Finish at 2:45pm. Please bring a packed lunch and wear casual clothes and trainers.
New Year 7 parent meeting at 2 pm on Wednesday 12th July in the Hall. One adult representative per child only please.
New Year 7 students start school on Wednesday, 6th September at 8.30 am. Please arrive in full school uniform (no PE kit needed on 6th or 7th September). Bring autobiography shoe boxes and pencil cases.
