King Edwards Vi Lordswood Archives

Some of you might be aware that there is a storage space under the stage in the main hall.  Last Easter a team of colleagues from Lordswood Girls School spent several weeks tidying up the space under the stage.  Whilst doing this, a large number of historical documents were found.  We were concerned that these important documents could become damaged if not preserved correctly.  During the last 12 months we have been working with Charlotte Gallant the Archivist from the KEVI foundation office to ensure that these documents are being preserved correctly.  She has been working really hard to digitise as many of these artifacts as possible so they are available for everyone to enjoy without any damage being made to the original document.
